Made for surfers with an intermediate to advanced level, we are partnering up with Uruguayan longboard champion Nacho Pignataro to serve you the longboarding clinic of a lifetime. We will get obsessed with surfing for 4 days in a row with both technical and theoretical approaches. This is an intensive coaching experience in which we'll cover everything from surf history and surfboards evolution to the physics of nose riding and the techniques behind crosstepping, hanging five, ten, heels and much more. We will surf our brains out in the heart of our favorite natural playground > Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Every surf session will be filmed and we’ll get to analyze in-depth all clips by the end of every day to gain different approaches on what "to do” and what to focus on the next surf session. And when we’re not surfing, or talking about surfing, we’ll be enjoying incredible food and vibes at the iconic surfers’ haven – House of Somos. A contemporary refugee with a vintage airstream cafe serving dishes made with locally-grown ingredients, dreamy pools for cooling off, and a world-class shaping room to explore and learn everything we need to know about surfboards construction. Longboarding champion from Uruguay closed in third place to take the Bronze Medal in the 2022 Panamerican surfing games. Nacho started surfing when he was 6 years old and has traveled worldwide, competing and searching for incredible waves since then. Longboarding gave him a different perspective: seeking perfection in waves rather than just chasing big ones. Now he loves sharing his knowledge and passion in all different corners of the world.

Argentinian surfer and co-creator of A Week Awake @aweekawake surf experiences. Based in Santa Teresa, she embodies fun and adventure and brings high vibes into whatever she does. Her technical longboard coaching is geared for the female body, mind and spirit.
