Overview

After a sold-out first edition in 2025, we return to Morocco’s vibrant coastline in the best possible company: Morocco’s national surf champion and our dear friend, Maryam El Gardoum. Surfing with Maryam isn’t just a lesson, it’s insider access. Her ocean wisdom, local roots, and contagious passion set the tone for the entire week. We’ll be tucked away in Tamraght, just north of renowned Taghazout along Morocco’s Atlantic coast. This serene village offers a more authentic and less crowded alternative, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking both adventure and relaxation. A place where surf shops and cozy cafés hum softly, providing a perfect blend of local culture and surf lifestyle. You'll be waking up to world-class waves, including some of the most legendary longest point breaks in Africa. Whether you’re just getting started or refining your skills, this retreat is especially designed with beginners in mind, offering a supportive and empowering environment in the water. To balance the stoke, Laëtitia from Mindful Moments will be grounding us with yoga and movement practices, reconnecting us to our bodies and breath. And for a deeper dive into Moroccan culture, Giulia will guide us through colorful souks, local culinary delights, and hidden gems that go beyond the tourist path. Expect a week full of waves, movement, sisterhood, and spice. All under the warm Moroccan sun. Limited to 12 spots.

TESTIMONIALS

I was concerned about being the oldest and largest bodied person there and worried it could feel ostracizing. Instead I found many peers and also great connections with the women younger than me. I may have been the largest body person there but no one seemed to notice. I just got love and praise. I can tell that joyful and loving environment was more than my cohort and absolutely a result of the positive atmosphere created by the hosts.

Jazz

I was there for my birthday, and it turned out to be so special with the camel ride, dinner in the dunes and I feel like I got the best surf sesh that day. We had the water to ourselves practically.

Jessica

The entire retreat was so well-run operationally, it was such a treat to not have to think or make a decision all week. There was amazing food and the hosts were fabulous - the entire team made the experience so special. The surf coaching was the best - absolute expertise in the water (only 2 people to each coach) but also really fun amongst the whole crew. I hadn’t surfed for 2 years, and this was the best best re-entry to it. I could not recommend this more!!!

Em

It was the first time in a LONG time that I didn't have to worry about anything other than having a good time. The food was incredible, the vibes were high, the people were so kind. I found myself laughing, smiling and relaxing more than I have in a long while. I will definitely be back!
